The Case

Structured and Diverse E-learning

STC, a provider of vocational education explored the possibilities of the existing platforms for e-learning and content creation. Their conclusion was: ‘messy and limited’ when it comes to structured curriculum and mixed methods of teaching delivery.

As it happened, LX Futures has years of experience in developing learning content for educational publishers and institutes. Our research and workshops with the customer yielded three major requirements for the creation of a structured learning content:
- The ability to organize learning through given time frame,
- Be able to provide students with a mix of media, not just video,
- To include benefits of classroom teaching, p. e. engage in discussions.

The Solution

Create a Learning Program as a Pro

Pedagogy and Didactics as a Priority

LX Futures took time to follow the customer through their process of the creation of a learning program. We translated the process into a prototype and worked further with the customer on the improvements.

We decided to create a fixed layout that corresponds with the way the courses are developed within STC. Synchronously, STC course creators have the flexibility to create courses for individuals, groups, courses that take 4 hours, as well as 12 months.
STC can add any type of content they have prepared, and can design course content by dragging and dropping elements they need.

This platform is our dream come true.
